  • Once rental has been paid and received, this agreement serves as a tax invoice. By his/her signature hereto the Customer acknowledges the suitability of the store and accepts that he/she is bound by the conditions below.

  • TERMS & CONDITIONS

    1. ACCESS: Access to persons in possession of valid security numbers shall be free during normal business hours. Arrangements may be made to gain access out if normal business hours and STORAGELAND reserves the right to levy a charge for such access. STORAGELAND reserves the right to deny access to any customer if their account is in arrears.
    2. NATURE OF GOOD: The customer undertakes not to store on the premises anything that might have offensive odors, constitute a fire hazard, to be explosive or which may in any way damage the premises or be offensive to other Customers or cause a nuisance. STORAGELAND reserves the right to call a Customer to remove good from the property should it consider them to be offensive in any way. Should the Customer fail to remove them, STORAGELAND may, at its discretion, remove such goods from the property. No Cigarettes and/or alcohol is permitted to be stored on the premises.
    3. VACATION OF STORE: Customers are requested to notify STORAGELAND by the 15th of any month of their intention to vacate a store at month end. Stores must be left clean and free of waste material and any damage must be reported to STORAGELAND.
    4. RISK: While STORAGELAND will at all times make every effort to ensure the safety of its Customers’ possessions, goods stored on the premises will be at the sole risk of the customer. The Customer will be responsible for insuring its goods stored on the premises. Customers are advised to request help from the staff if they are struggling to open or close the doors to their storerooms.
    5. SECURITY AND PARKING: The Customer agrees to accept directions of the security staff.
    6. RENTAL: Rental plus VAT shall be paid monthly in advance free of bank exchange or setoffs during office hours to STORAGELAND, Corner Melville Road and Harris Drive, Ottery East, 7800. STORAGELAND reserves the right to make adjustments to the rental from time to time and will use its best endeavor to advise Customers timeously of any adjustments.
    7. DEPOSIT: The customer shall, prior to taking occupation of a store, in addition to paying the first month’s rental, deposit with STORAGELAND, a deposit amount. This shall be refunded to the Customer after any deductions have been made for waste removal, repair of damage, costs of recovery of abandoned goods or rental arrears. Such deposit shall not constitute the last month’s rental.
    8. BREACH: STORAGELAND reserves the right to cancel any storage contract should the Customer be in breach of any of the aforementioned conditions. By failing to pay rental for three months or more, the Customer shall be deemed to have abandoned its goods at STORAGELAND and grants STORAGELAND the right to dispose of such goods and offsets the proceeds there from against unpaid rental, penalties and expenses incurred by STORAGELAND in pursuing payment of rental. The Customer chooses Domicillium at the rental store.
    9. CHANGE OF ADDRESS: The Customer shall notify STORAGELAND of any change of address, phone numbers and or email address.
    10. DEBIT ORDER: STORAGELAND reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to the debit order in the event of there being a rental adjustment and will use its best endeavor to advise Customers timeously of any adjustments.
